There is only a 20% chance of rain!

You should call up the Big Wu, and have them open up!!! Seriously though, I know this announcement was just made, but any idea who will be playing with Del McCoury on Oct. 5th? Like maybe Cornmeal?!?!?!?! The 6th is my birthday, so it would be really awesome to see Allie wailin’ with Del to bring in my 34th! Please keep me informed.

I am sorry to bother you. I am just wanting to clarify… if you have the ticket that went from 4-10 PM that is the “daytime” ticket and we will not be able to see any music this Sat. (postponed) without purchasing another “nighttime” ticket. Is this correct? We purchased our ticket via another site and the combo/two ticket deal is new to me. Thanks for your time.

  4. admin says:

Correct – the ticket you purchased for 4-10pm (daytime) can either be re-used on 10/5 or refunded. If you would like to attend the current nighttime concert, yes, you would need to buy a separate ticket for that.

  5. bj says:

@ jake schmitz, highly doubtful that they will be getting cornmeal considering they are on the verge of a break up. the nowak brother’s already confirmed they are done with cornmeal after the string of shows for the rest of the year are finished. they’ll be looking for a new guitar player and drummer, so eventually cornmeal will be back but prolly not anytime soon!but getting allie to come out on her own, that’s a different story. that girl loves to play so i’m sure she would be all for coming to play w/ del!

Please move the Stringdusters up to earlier in the evening. I’m gonna sound old here (only 42), but 12:30 – 2:30 is too late. They draw a very diverse crowd – young and old – and that set time is too late for some of us. They are the band I wanted to see most this Saturday, but was going to just attend the early show and skip the late night. Now that this is one inside show starting at 7:00, move them up to earlier in the evening – PLEASE!

Also, you think about moving the whole she-bang inside? I’ve always thought you guys could make use of your basement for something like this. Have your mainstage upstairs and have the second stage down in the basement. Just a thought.

  7. admin says:

With the new schedule, the Stringdusters will now go on at 10:30pm.

  8. Randy says:

    THANK YOU!!!

  9. Ashley says:

  10. Madison says:

What is the new schedule? Mountain sprout emmit-nershi then infamous???

  11. Tom says:

I have a “Today’s Deal” ticket from STLtoday. Four of them actually. They are prepaid, but don’t indicate whether they are for the daytime portion, night time, or both. They do say “$22 value.” Do I have tickets for tomorrow night, October 5, or both?

  12. Randy says:

Just a couple regional suggestions for Oct 5th bill-

    Bawn in the Mash
    The HillBenders
    Chicago Farmer
    The Chapmans

  13. BH says:

Hi, I have the same question as Tom. I bought the STL Today deal, it doesn’t indicate a time, just that it’s a ticket for a one day Bluegrass festival. Should I take this to mean it’s just for the day portion and will not work to get in tomorrow, but will work for the Oct 5th show?
Tried to call to ask this question but your voicemail is full.
    Thanks!

    Ashley,

The times are now posted above.

The new schedule is posted above

  16. admin says:

Tom, with the todays deal, you can use that ticket for the rescheduled date of 10/5.

  17. admin says:

Beth, with the todays deal, you can use that ticket for the rescheduled date of 10/5.

  18. Kris says:

Since we bought tickets for an all day concert & you’ve just moved it from a Saturday to a FRIDAY we working stiffs would like to know just who/what is scheduled & when so we know whether to return the tickets or not.

  19. admin says:

    Kris,
We don’t have the specific details yet. As of right now, we only know that Del McCoury Band will be playing on 10/5. We will announce the whole reschedule date soon, with bands & times.

  20. Kris says:

When will you have those times? As I post this we’re less than two weeks from the concert & almost 3 weeks since you promised to “announce the whole reschedule date soon, with bands & TIMES.” When will we see the schedule?

  21. Kathy says:

When will you post the schedule for the Del Yeah Bluegrass festival. The starting time says 8:00 – both indoor and outdoor? This will be the first time to the Old Rock House – is there seating for the outdoor? General seating for indoor? Couldn’t find this information on the website.

    Thanks!

  22. admin says:

Kathy, we just posted the times on here. There will be some patio furniture outside, you can also bring in your own lawn chairs. There will be limited tables & chairs inside. Hope that helps!

  23. Matt says:

Are there any extra fees for tickets purchased at the venue?

  24. Randy says:

Any updates here? Show still going on outdoors? If it is all moved indoors, any changes to the line-up and/or set schedule?

  25. admin says:

no, if you buy tickets here, there are no fees

  26. bryan says:

also curious about some updates, this rain sucks and it looks like its not gonna stop! i say big bands up stairs, smaller bands downstairs or something along those lines.

  27. admin says:

We are sticking with the original schedule, the main bands will still be outdoors.
