Fans of rock ‘n’ roll, folk, country and Americana music have long been held in Todd Snider’s sway. His last full length album, 2006′s “The Devil You Know” landed him on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and Late Night With David Letterman, and it appeared on numerous year-end Top 10 lists including Spin, Blender and Rolling Stone.
With the success of his heralded 2008 EP, “Peace Queer” and “Peace Queer: The Movie”, Snider is now prepping for its follow up, “The Excitement Plan”, which will be released on Yep Roc in June. Recorded with Rolling Stones producer Don Was, the record, already hailed as Snider’s next masterpiece, features a smokin’ duet with Loretta Lynn, “Don’t Tempt Me” and “America’s Favorite Pastime,” a song that combines sports and LSD and is based on legendary baseball player Doc Ellis.
