Midwinter carves beauty from chaos with their emotionally charged brand of progressive metalcore. Blending punishing thall-infused riffs, lush ambient layers, and introspective lyrics, the Cleveland, Ohio based five-piece explores themes of loss, identity, and healing. Their sound design is immersive and intentional—layered with glitchy textures, dissonant melodies, and experimental production techniques that push genre boundaries and elevate every emotional peak and breakdown.

Coldstate
Emerging with an unrelenting sonic force, COLDSTATE is redefining heavy music with a sound that’s as crushing as it is emotionally charged. Hailing from Indianapolis, the quintet—Clayton White (vocals), Noah Porter (lead guitar), Fernando Diaz (rhythm guitar), and Scottie Newerth (bass)—has built momentum through a string of hard-hitting releases, including The Love That’s Left In Me (2024), the sibling EPs The Heinous and The Lovely (2025), and the standalone single “Half Empty” (2025).
Their latest release, “Anyone But Me,” distills everything the band has crafted so far while pushing their sound into bold new territory. Recorded and produced by longtime collaborator Jonathan Dolese (Chelsea Grin, Zero 9:36, Cane Hill, Sakoya), the track layers COLDSTATE’s signature heaviness with industrial electronic textures, delivering a defiant anthem of self-belief and a battle cry for anyone fighting to protect their identity against the pressures that seek to tear it down.
